      Det trehövdade vattenfallet under den höga stenbron är den mest fotogenialiska platsen i Mullerthal. Hade man kunnat retuschera bort alla klängande barn, överviktiga män i foppatofflor och deras fruar vars bästföre-datum sedan länge passerat, så hade verkligheten överträffat …

      ... restaurants around the outside with loads of outdoor seating. All you could hear was French, German and Luxembourgish (an odd cross between Dutch and French). It was peaceful sitting in the patchy shade.  With our icecreams.  Luckily, our food costs for the rest of the day and tomorrow are low. But this icecream is so damn good! And the weather just yells 'eat icecream'.  So we did.  And then we moved from one square to another square ...

      ... dinner.  Mind you we worked for it! Between two of us we only just managed to scrape together enough French to get us a triple scoop each.  What? That's the same as a main course.  It was so good though..maybe not your usual healthy dinner but as far as stories go, this afternoon is creeping further up my list.  And to top it off, I guess I will tell you what we are doing now...       ... a nearby river walk. We drove out looking for the town walk but ended up driving to the lookout. This turned out to be fine as it was pretty foggy and the walk was through dense trees. We cut the hike short and moved on.
      -we decided to drive forward on our route to a different river town, La Roche de Ardennes. We got there and as soon as we had sat down in a cafe, it started to pour. ...

      ... still expected us to be able to read Luxembourgish, French or German. I had to rack my brain to decipher the German - I hope my translation was correct!

      The town is centred around a beautiful town square and rounded-off by an impressive basilica. Beautiful as the town may be, there were flies and bees everywhere. Actually, flies and bees seem to love Luxembourg and we couldn't escape them the entire weekend.
