... in de dalen die nog op mij lagen te wachten of ver achter mij gelachen. Vandaag heb ik geslalomd tussen Belgie, Duitsland en Luxemburg. Door het Ourdal en de Eifel. Heerlijke route, want het was voornamelijk bergafwaarts op één hele nare 4km langdurige klim na. Met 52km zoefde ik die berg dan ook weer af, hopelijk ben ik niet geflitst! ;-)

Let the Work Begin!
... Nick, talked to all the singers about acting and their goals for the next two weeks. Then it was on to the actual rehearsals and staging. We were able to get through some Massenet and Weber…going over diction, meaning of the text, tempo, and musical ideas. When 6:15pm hit, and we finished up the last coaching, I was beat. All these singers really wear you out! Time to get some good rest before the series of long staging rehearsals really hits tomorrow! ...
