Monaco was unbelievable. I was awestruck most of the time by the fact that I was actually in Monte Carlo! Immaculate streets and gardens/parks, very clean. Designer labels and fashionable people everywhere. So small in area that every available inch of land is consumed, but still so much traffic. Amazing hills and views. Have had fun in France. Nice is interesting and the beautiful water of the mediterranian was great to woke up to... Mick went for a swim !! we caught a train to Cannes and we looked around all the exclusive spots but noone we knew... just rich people and us tourists..
we also went to Montecarlo.. fantastic.. even swa a kart race in Monaco... had a look at the MonteCarlo Casino.. impressive if only for the flashy cars and people with too much cash ...

... tomorrow. The hotel is the flashest i have ever stayed at. There was a gala ball on tonight and some famous people (tv cameras here and all!). I didn't recognise anyone tho. Had a drink at the bar to soak up the atmosphere. My view is fantastic.

Not going to update the travel blog for a few days while I enjoy the relax time in Monte Carlo. Will summarise it all with photos once I’m on my way to Italy. Here’s hoping the weather shines for me.

We didnt do much in Cannes except go to the beach. Got there pretty early and were only planning on spending the day and night but then the realisation dawned that it might be the last chance to be at the beach again. Ile razy bylismy w uroczym miasteczku Villefranche na francuskim Lazurowym Wybrzezu, tyle razy chcialam pojechac do Monaco. Moj grafik jednak mi na to nie pozwalal. Tym razem spielam sie w czasie i zaraz po porannej pracy pobieglam na dworzec kolejowy. Pociag do Monte Carlo, w obie strony, kosztowal mnie cale 5 Euro, a jazda trwala 15-20 minut. Widoki sliczne, ale najlepsza byla jednak Starowka Monte Carlo oraz samochody ...

Today we decided to take a day off from riding. Originally we had planned to take a trip into Nice and Monaco, but we were just plain worn out from 5 days of riding. Good thing too as there was an Ironman going on in Nice and the surrounding area, including the town of Vence that we were in, and we wouldn't have gotten very far.
