Now, as we prepare to leave here in a few days time, I can't help but think what this place once was and what it could be. The owners have their work cut out for them, trying to manage it from the other side of the country.

There are a couple of dishes I've accidentally come across in my life that still churn my stomach to think about. Durian cheesecake in Singapore is one-- and salade de gesiers is another.
