... we had breakfast, crepes and a latte macchiato, before walking 5 minutes to the Mediterranean Sea. Yup, 5 minutes and we were tanning and splashing in the waves! Incredible! We were going to book a tour for tomorrow but maybe we will just be beach bums again! It's too nice to pass ...

... in Nice,(according to one website we read). It turned out to be more like a stew with slices of beef and plenty of tender gnocchi. I had a red mullet filet with lemon sauce that came with a small, round quiche. Desserts were apple tart and a nougat ice cream. A Provence rose wine accompanied the meal, and an espresso topped it off. ...

The inside of the car consisted of about 50 seats - each half of the car faced the middle so some students were facing the rear of the car. There were four collections of four seats that faced each other and had small tables. ... the weather had packed in so we spent the rest of the day in the bar doing a bit of planning. When we woke the next morning the weather was even worse, cold & raining. This limited our options but we grabbed the tram down into central Nice and spent the day walking around the city trying to get out of the rain where ever possible. It was a nice change from playing tourist.
