      After a hearty breakfast at the hotel we headed off to Luxembourg City and into Vaals(It borders on both Belgium and Germany.       ... As I am driving towards Bastogne, I noticed that rain seemed to be hitting my windshield rather "softly". I thought it might be snow, but nothing was on the ground. Then it happened. I saw some logs on the side of the road with snow on them! By the time I got to the sign that read "Bastogne" snow was covering the fields and coming down all around me. I was elated!
