... instrumentation and it was a very fun piece for everyone to perform. Each performing ensemble was given 30 minutes in the Stadthalle in the afternoon for their final dress rehearsal to test the acoustics of the hall. l'Oiseau des Bois was a big hit on the program and the entice concert was terrific. Things have moved very quickly here; with performances every night there are lots of rehearsals, horn classes, and individual lessons. We toured Vianden with our new friends from San Francisco, Bud and Lynn. Marcel showed us everything possible and it was a great day. 1255th Monument Bud's father fought with the 1255th during the Battle of the Bulge. ... we are writing this from now is Vianden. The town is mint......it's a tiny town with small cobbled streets, nesetled in a deep valley with a Castle / Chateaux overlooking.
