    ... and pepperoni set it apart from other places. Also St Hubert Hot Chicken sandwich is another one of those "must haves" for me. Let's see... There were steaks, salmon, chicken, lasagna..     Went skiing with the Reidy's and their cousins. Jay Peak is definitely a must on a skiers list. Some sweet glade skiing for novices. Packed powder. 25 degrees. Barely a breeze.     ... and very dry sparkling cider. By then we decided that our cholesterol overload was enough and we skipped dinner. Today is another warm day on our drive to Quebec City. I suppose my only disappointment is that the town green, in three pines, is really a creation of Louise Penny. The small towns were very lovely and picturesque. But none have a central green. Nevertheless I can see how this area has inspired her. Au Revoir ...

    JC's birthday was on the Wednesday the 17th but we have been celebrating all week. It started on the 16th with a meal at home featuring his favourites, steak and Rissa's famous mushroom and Parmesan Risotto with a bottle of Cab/Sauvignon from BC.
