De la biere en France!
... la cathedrale, de conception romaine, avec ces deux grandes coupoles, puis le vieux quartier, qui nous donnne l'impression d'etre encore a l'epoque medieval, jusqu'au moment ou une auto tourne le coin! Puis le fameux pont Valentre qui surplombe la riviere Lot avec ses trois tourelles.
Pour finir la journee, quoi de mieux qu'une degustation des vin de Cahors au Malbec lounge!

Basically an entire small town that has been deserted now has been taken over by junk dealers. Serious deals on stuff but running out of potential suitcase room. Local take-out pizza dinner- Veggie!

Dordogne - Bastides, chateaux and walnuts

We decided that Jean Luc had come silently in the night and shut them somehow from below, reasoning that Martine was never able to do anything so silently. We woke up super early to get in line for the nearest caves. I had tried to get advance tickets months earlier, but they were sold out until 2013. However, there are a small number of first come, first serve tickets released at the start of each day. We were 4th and 5th in line at 7:45, with around 40 people in line by the time it opened at 9:30. Only about the first 10 of us would get tickets. ...
