... warmed up. Another thing ticked off my orientation list.

Just as the sun was setting it broke through the clouds and produced the most gorgeous sky and a rainbow. I was sure it would bode well for the next day. There were 2 bicyclists camping in pup tents among the big rigs, who I'm sure were pleased to see it was clearing after what must have been a miserable day was undoubtably a cold night. ...

Parc National Du Bic is a 15 minute drive away from Rimouski that runs along the coast of the St Laurence. We decided to stretch our legs and go for our first real hike of the trip. Day started out sunny and we hit rain at 4 pm near Matane, a very french town on coast Gaspe. Found a lovely B & B for the night. The drive along the Gaspe is beautiful, every small village and town has an enormous Catholic Church and they all ring there bells on the hour, reminds me of Europe. Everyone speaks some English and if not we use our Tarzan french( very primitive with the game of charades in ...

Day 29 (May 15) -- What another beautiful location we awoke in... the sound of the waves clearly audible through the night.... The site had no water as the owner was sterilizing the lines and there was only a central dump station so before leaving we hit the station to fill with water and dump in anticipation of boondocking for the coming night. Denis chatted with the owner and I spoke with the neighbour I had seen wandering the beach early in the morning ...

    Real RVers!

A travel blog entry by roamandco on Dec 26, 2013

Our first overnight stay at a Walmart parking yey, now we are officially RVers i guess. The RV area is located in the Eastern part of the parking lot, right near the Tim Hortons (open 24/7). You have the choice between TH and WM's Wifi hotspots there so it's pretty convenient.
