Day 3 was Levis to Matane along secondary road 132 along the Saint Lawrence River into the Gaspe region. As you can see from this pic, it was grey and rained most of the day.

Although grey, the drive along 132 still provided non-stop interest from small town to village to rural settings. It meanders along the mighty St. Lawrence, and hops over Highway 20 from time to time. Many of the towns ...

Day started out sunny and we hit rain at 4 pm near Matane, a very french town on coast Gaspe. Found a lovely B & B for the night. And walked into town to local pub to sample the local beer and pizza. The drive along the Gaspe is beautiful, every small village and town has an enormous Catholic Church and they all ring there bells on the hour, reminds me of Europe. Everyone speaks some English and if not we use our Tarzan french( very primitive with the game of charades in ...

Day 29 (May 15) -- What another beautiful location we awoke in... the sound of the waves clearly audible through the night.... The site had no water as the owner was sterilizing the lines and there was only a central dump station so before leaving we hit the station to fill with water and dump in anticipation of boondocking for the coming night. Denis chatted with the owner and I spoke with the neighbour I had seen wandering the beach early in the morning ...

    Real RVers!

... a really small town and in winter there isn't much things to do to be honest so we woke up, got a breakfast at TH and went shopping at WM for the Boxing day, we needed a blender and found one at a great price and now we are all set :)
Now it's time to leave and try to reach Gaspé ...
