... br>Das Fotografi**en gestaltete sich sehr schwi**ig. Die Wale warten ja nicht an d** Ob**fläche, bis man abdrückt. Auch das Schaukeln des Schiffes sowie d** starke Wind waren nicht g**ade förd**lich. Ab** wir haben alles gegeben.

Am Nachmittag sind wir dann mit dem Auto zum Cap de Bon Désir gefahren. Auch dort haben wir noch ein paar Belugas **späht.

... Coiffeuse mit dem Haartrimmer anfing, die Haare zu kürzen. Nun gut, keine 30 Minuten sind vergangen und wir beide haben den Coiffeur mit neuem Haarschnitt verlassen.

Da wir am nächsten Tag ein Walbeobachtungstour gebucht haben, besuchten wir das CIMM (Centre d'interpretation des Mammifères Marins), um uns über das Leben der Wale zu informieren. Das Zentrum ist sehr interessant und aufschlussreich!

Am Abend genossen wir die französische Küche auswärts.

... Durchschauen der Fotos entdecken, hätten wir auch schon den ersten Belugawal gesehen.

Nachdem wir unseren Campingplatz gefunden haben, sind wir zu einem Aussichtspunkt im Hafen von Tadoussac gelaufen. Dort kann man mit etwas Glück die Wale bereits vom Felsen aus sehen. Und tatsächlich haben wir einen weiteren Zwergwal gesichtet.

Die Höchstgeschwindigkeitslimite, welche am Hafen angegeben ist, lässt uns doch etwas schmunzeln....

Demain 80 km et dimanche 60 km de côtes (et de pluie?).

Super importants:

- il n'y avait plus de Honeycomb au déjeuner ce matin, demain je suis là à 6h AM!
- Je n'ai pas eu de mouche dans aucun orifice.
- Un demi sous-sol ca dort bien.
- Le jet de douche est tellement puissant qu'il décape mon bronzage.
- Vu sur météomédia: température ressentie à Montréal 33, à Rivière-Du-Roux 17!

... des routes sans accotement. Mais il est vrai aussi que je néglige un peu le "tourisme" dans cyclotourisme! C'est un peu comme quand j'étais en Europe, les visites culturelles je trouve ca très plate quand je suis seul. Le soir par contre après avoir fait mon petit lavage (oui oui ne vous en faites pas, je lave mes cuissards et mes chandails de vélo chaque jour!) je marche dans les villages à la recherche de manger.

... for 24 hours -and probably a treat for mum not to navigate. We are staying at Le Roupillon, a lovely wee bed and breakfast really close to the port and with very helpful hosts. The room is underground though which seems to be very common, so if coming here it might be good to ask if the accommodation has a room with a view. We had identified this morning a show
on in La Baie that is just a little south of Chicoutimi where we have
to cross the fiord. The show is called “les aventure d'un Flo” –
we were told it was all in French but that the show itself was
spectacular so we booked it this morning and headed there for the
night. We found a quaint little bed and breakfast with a very
friendly lady who ...

... d tough it out. We had thought about taking the ferry to Levis but decided the highway might be quicker. Well the traffic going into the city center was heavy in spots but we made our way across the suspension bridge to the south shore of the St. Lawrence. We ran into a little more traffic into Levis but were onto clear roads by 8:35 am. We drove east along Hwy 2 towards Riviere du Loup. Before we hit the city, Maud told us to take the bypass which we did, completely bypassing the city.

... we approached. The whale swam around the boats as if there were not even there and almost played hide and seek under some of the boats. That not where the whale watching ended we also saw many Minke whales, some of them up close and even the beautiful white Beluga whales who apparently are residents in the Lawrence River. Tadoussac truly is a nature lover haven and probably deserved more than just two days but we did try make up for the short visit by getting up extra early to watch the ...
