... After my first day I was really impressed with the organisation and professionalism this project was managed with, we were told all about our days activities on route to them, grouped and allocated section to search and analyse each with their own supervisor. I was excited for the seven days I’d stay in Emmerich, even though I though it may be to long for a minimum participation, but now I see why they also offer a two weeks course. Over the ...

These days most folks know that some land that is being deforested is in danger of becoming more like desert a process called desertification. So that is another thing for my generation to feel guilty and troubled about but....the rest of the story is that in fact people have been ruining the land in this way for years. We finished at 6.45 so we went round the corner and had a Frikadellen with Joeppe sauce which was delicious, followed by an ice cream in the new Ijs Parlour here, then to top it all we had a beer. That was our dinner as Isi had varnished the cooker and sink surrounds and were not hungry enough for proper meal.

It is now 9pm so we are off to find the free Wi-Fi and publish the blogs and news letter. ...
