Paris — Day 4

... we know the melancholy Dane well enough to follow the action. It's clearly a masterful interpretation, although the language barrier means I can't quite tell how well the modern setting is working: in this presentation Elsinore is an (apparently British) sports club and bar, and the era is made clear not just by costumes and hairstyles, but also by the cheesy 70's music that blares out of the club's jukebox at various points through the show. ...

Paris to Chalon Sur Saone

A travel blog entry by ange2013

This morning we were up at 7am again and out the door and checked out of the Adagio at 8.30. When I knew we were going to Paris - there was one place that was at the top of my list and that was a visit to see a show at the Moulin Rouge. My friend, Allison Rau, had visited there while living here - and I had seen her Facebook post about doing so - which meant to ...
