Ended up here agin after inspecting two other aires, both OK but a bit dirty underfoot and one had to pay. Le Hourdel is free and this time we managed to park on the edge of the beach with clear views across Le Baie du Somme. While at lunch we shared some great stories with a very cute couple Pauline(her daughter) and Simon. Pauline had made some amazing herb roasted potatoes "la ratte du Touquet" and I couldn't stop eating it.
