As part of our weekend trip south, we set Freiburg im Breisgau as our
Saturday night destination. We arrived in the evening just before dark.
We stayed in a cute little hotel called Hotel Blume. It was about 10 km
away from the main heart of Freiburg, but it was one of the only hotels
available at short notice, and was also decently affordable. For being

... are! We went back to our room and made a cup of tea while we waited for breakfast. I used the extra time to organize our bags again -- an unending task when traveling! We sat next to Dwight and Molly and talked more about travel, etc., as we enjoyed our typical Chambre d'hôtes breakfast of bread, bread, and more bread, butter, jam, orange juice, tea and coffee. So far, I don't feel like I've gained weight on this trip, even after eating bread, butter, jam and full fat cream in my tea ...
