        We pick up the travel blog having said farewell to Patty and Bob in Amsterdam and following a nice walk in Rembrandt Park by the hotel on Monday morning, we were picked up by our dear Dutch friend of 42 years - Puck and Ben Roncken who served in Moose Jaw in the early 70's where Ben was an exchange instructor pilot. They took us to their home in Roermond where we spent a very enjoyable and relaxing day and a half.

        27th A wet day yesterday Sophie and Arnaud offered to take us out for lunch before heading back to Amiens which was a very pleasant prospect.         Tony, the very skilled carpenter working with Thierry van der Zwan, arrived at 9am, just as we had cleaned up after breakfast.
