... grass pitches! We had a few cheeky San Migels before hitting the pool to cool off. Tonight we sampled the on site restaurant- si had a steak (looked like horse) and I had chicken- it was really nice and not doing dishes was even better! I washed it all down with a €1.20 glass of rose! Bargain! Few more drinks at the van and an early night the weather is cooler so we should have a good night sleep! Night ...
... but it was not the place to buy so we walked back down the hill and made our purchases.
Public toilet #2 - something was wedged in, not going there! You really need to go in the restaurants when you have the chance!

After a long and tiring journey we arrived at our campsite. Weather is lovely so went for an uphill walk in the evening. Just enjoying a beer in the bar now. Day by the pool tomorrow me thinks. Did a little reading by the van after breakfast and then dozed off. After lunch went and had a dip in the pool. Another day and another Aire, Brioude was a nice town that we wandered looking for ideally a nice restaurant for the evening to celebrate a Year on the road... We settled for dinner in Herman but had a fun day celebrating our adventure and enjoyed some nice messages on ...
... told us of the local dish which was to be the evening dinner special it was called Truffade. We later on went with that, it consisted of potatoe fried with bacon in Cantelle cheese , basically a fondue served with a crisp green salad and procuitto on the side, the idea was to mix it all up on your plate and man it was good.
