    We set off early from Beaune to start the drive to the Loire Valley. Our first stop was Chateau de Chambord. This huge palace was first built by Francis I, King of France at the time that Henry VIII was King of England.     On Saturday morning we packed up Lynn and Phil's house (well, to be fair, Lynn, Phil and Jackie did. I sort of hung around) in anticipation of the later arrival of the Caen apartment owners who did a house swap with Phil and Lynn.
