The long boring road to Luxembourg
... decide on my route there and then. It’s such a great feeling of freedom. I normally ride until about 5pm and then look for accommodation but since it is now winter I have changed that time to 3pm.
After miles and miles of jam-free running I knew I had to come up to a jam at some stage or another and sure enough I did. As I approached the town of Maastricht there was traffic as far as the eye could see ahead of me!! No ways was I sitting for hours in this jam ...

Medieval Village of Monschau Germany
