... One bookstore in particular gets my attention. It is set up in an old church. The walls are covered with book shelves and there is a restaurant at the back where I imagine people once took communion.

... and worked a while on getting the blog caught up. We are really far behind, as you can probably tell. Ted whipped up some mean sandwiches for lunch with german rolls, sliced deli meats and some awesome cheese. Ignoring the typical grey sky of a North German autumn we headed out to the spectacular town of Monschau which was established about 1000 years ago. On the way we passed through Holland and Belgium to reach this small German town, an experience that is incomprehensible to an Australian mindset.

... sold and moved after the 5 years. However, our taxi driver said we had some time before our train and he drove us around to see all of them.

... They are really good. I was surprised. fantastic works of art. There was one artist that came and finished one in less than the 4 weeks so he did another one. Both of them were amazing.

Once we got to the station we caught got home way quicker, by not listening to the lady at the train ...
