Woke up to another beautiful day. Hotel Pavillon had been excellent and a great place to relax for the night. Dinner was a 5 course meal with great wine to celebrate harriet's birthday. ... we continued on our upward journey, climbing up a path following a riverbed. This was the major climb of the day. We finally reached the top (4000 feet up from our start). Pretty windy and cold and we took a short break in the hut on top specially built for that purpose.
