2 Musée de Beaux-Arts – Fine Arts Museum
The museum covers 500 years of painting in Europe. We saw the most important ones:

... I was on mission .. I wanted to visit the sights but had no time to do so during the day so I decided to get them all done during the night ..I done the whole city and even stopped in a French bar for a drink all in two hours ...
it was a good couple of days ,,, I now know my way around Strasburg city like a beaut :)
We returned to Strasbourg today to visit the Cathedral which we missed on our last visit. We thought we also might take the chance to do some shopping, however being Sunday in France, all the shops are closed, even in the cities so this was not possible. It was actually very nice walking through the city without all the hustle and bustle.
The cathedral is home to an Astronomical Clock which is similar to the one we visited in Prague in December, however ...
... and carted off to gaol! He did not find it funny when Nathan told him he could see a police car coming in the distance and was adamant that we must all leave straight away!!!! The view from the top of the Rock was well worth the trip and we were able to see all the way into Germany in one direction and into Switzerland from the other, not forgetting to mention a unique view over Haselbourg.
Tonight the billiards competition began with ...
... still trying to work out what went wrong as we all thought he would be the one to beat but he lost each of his three games comprehensively, perhaps his pre-game trash talk set him up to fail!
Tonight for dinner we had a raclette. It was fun to sit around cooking our own meal together and reminiscing about our last raclette in Germany with the Rosenthal’s.
