Got about 4 hours of sleep before starting my 3:00 am watch. Full moon so the stars aren't as brilliant tonight. Nothing in sight except ocean as far as the eye can see, illuminated by the moonlight it's very peaceful. ... creatures; the green iguana, the field mice and few birds. In the middle of the island is a working light house that seems be cared for still. We didn't see the caretaker but noticed the house was still in working conditions. The views of the Atlantic side from the cliff was spectacular. Pictures can not start to even showcase the beauty.
This place is not to be missed if you are in the area. We love this place and hope to com back ...

We were told about the beauty and charm of De Saints, Guadeloupe by many fellow cruisers. They were spot on. The De Saints is about 20 nautical miles north of Dominica so it was a little less than a four hour sail from Portsmouth, Dominica. We entered the Saints and ended anchoring at Pain A Sucre of Terre De Haut. The anchorage is lovely with a beach surrounded by a cliff and a small mountain.
