    ... I had some change. It's a good job we did because we spotted the police checking was worth the €2. On the way back we stopped in the supermarket, Leclerc, and bought a few bottles of wine for home, and a Kinder Xmas stocking for each of the grandkids.     ... a car park, now it's a lovely garden. From there we walked down to the port, to see the fishing boats come in with their catch. It was quite distressing to see them clean their nets. Any fish caught by its fins, was ripped out and tossed over the boardwalk. A few made it back to the sea alive, but most died and were eaten by the seagulls, cormorants and shags who fought over them. There were loads of fish stalls, and loads ...

    ... we decided on The Swan. Dave commented that his soup wasn't very "fishy"...I suggested that was probably because he had ordered French Onion soup!     Our last day in France and it rained all day. I thought that was rather apt. We arrived in the rain and we are leaving in the rain.
