    ... my wildest expectations, with excellent organization, careful planning, great concert repertoire and venues, and a wonderful group of people, both students and faculty. Everyone was treated with great respect and dignity, which was very much appreciated. He was lost on the 3rd April 1943, while flying a Lancaster sortie over Germany. He rests, with his mates lost at the same time, in the Reichswalde cemetery.
