Didn't quite make it to Echternach. Train to Luxembourg almost inexplicably stopped in Arlon. We had to take a bus the rest of the way, but the buses didn't go until eventually. We got to Luxembourg in time to wander briefly, get caught in another downpour and come back to ...

The city itself is incredibly spectacular with the fortress ramparts, the Grand Duke’s palace, the viaduct, the cathedral, the underground defence works and the amazing views from the 'Bock'. The snow also made it that little bit more special.

After a delicious hot chocolate at midday, yet again to escape the cold, I got a text from the ...

... s, but for those who saw yesterday's pictures you may have seen the sign for "McAsian" food and I couldn't pass up the temptation to try a Wasabi Burger with Thai Chili fries. The Wasabi Burger even came with sliced carrots! It was pretty darn good, too! To counter my guilt I went around the corner and ordered a delicious double espresso to wash it all down.

One thing I noted about Luxembourg...the place is alive, ...
