A travel blog entry by deantyrrell on Jul 24, 2015

This morning we woke up early again to be able to go to the lake. We got there, had a couple of hours to swim and sunbathe and then we left at 2:30. At 3:00 we arrived at the campsite and 15 minutes later we were on our way to white water rafting. The rafting was all the way down the verdon gorge. Max fell out right at the end and there was no access for 30km!! We all thoroughly enjoyed it. For dinner we had pizza (again!) and then went to ...

... bet with Max that he wouldn't dive into the water for five euros but he did so i lost my bet :(. We travelled from small town to town as the main road would lead you through cobbled streets changing back ...

... were some ancient oratories and the 12 Stations of the Cross. I was told that when I got to the top that it is tradition to make a wish inside the chapel and it supposed to come true. By the time I got to the top it was easy to see why the climb is worthy of a wish. Check out the pictures to see how steep this climb was.

After leaving this village we stopped at a lavender farm, where a cute French lady with some effort explained to us how ...

    Jetlagged and homesick, again

A travel blog entry by surrealcereal on Jan 21, 2007

... in Digne). I did not, did not, did NOT want to do any of those things. I'd complained while I was home about receiving no job training (and I mean NO job training), and I think talking about it made me anxious about returning and planning lessons. So there I was at school again, fighting jet lag, completely unsocial, unwilling to go back to work, and wishing I had another job. I even had a dream in which we were all told ...
