Time to go. Did most over the box packing last night but still a much earlier start for us today! Took the kids off to the park while hank did the rest if the pack down. Didn't leave til half twelve but made good time (only one wee stop) and didn't bother with a lunch stop so arrive at Le Mans at 4. Wow. This is one of the nicest campsites we've been to, and that's coming from a die hard Martragny addict. Into Carrefour for baguette, rillettes wine, crisps, chocolate biscuits, wine glasses and Red and white ...

I asked the owner’s wife if she could call the nearest store in the next village and see if they had a relay that would work. I really did not fancy a two hour drive in a hot car. The lady was great and made the call to be told to call back in fifteen minutes they would check. Fifteen minutes later no answer so we decided to take a walk to the river then just ...

We left St Avit Loisirs dead on 10am check out time, and got to our overnight stop over at 7pm. Ok J was driving and it poured with rain and we mixed toll roads with A roads and we didn't have directions to the hotel BUT STILL! I think the French tourist bureau is massaging the mileage figures - the country is huge. The booking was for two adjoining rooms. To us that meant there'd be a ...
