... observation is the number of hair salons in France! every village no matter how small has at least one, usually two or three salons! Never mind an ATM machine - getting your hair done and looking good is more important!

We have driven all around the region visiting dozens of villages and towns, all of them individual with their own piece of medieval history, they are just so amazing. The French love roundabouts and ...

We went to Vitre yesterday, into Fougeres today and found our way to the wine cave to buy some Vin rouge et Vin blanc ( French rural version of Dan Murphys). The vintner was rolling his eyes at his daughter and asked how long we were staying and even gave us a free bottle extra! Maybe French people don't usually buy as much as we did??

I will put some photos below of the house and some of the places we have visited. J.

However, the arm waving did help somewhat and eventually, we found a sign which more or less pointed us in the right direction. Oh boy, were we glad we were not towing our caravan!! This Aire is just beautiful. Right on the side of the river, a very nice little town just over the bridge with a supermarket, patisserie and butcher. ...

... dry and was just taking bens suit off when the sun came out again, so suited Ben back up but he only wanted a few more minutes. They've got a really nice toddler park and a Villages des Enfants, cute little wooden houses in a village set up for them to play in. Kids loved it. Ben bounced around quite merry for a while on the bouncy castle with cars on it and Bella loved going in a big girl swing for the first time. Had benji's ...
