... We wandered about the historic sights and had a lovely plat de jour at a little restaurant.

We have eaten some wonderful meals and food at the country restaurants and villages they are of an extremely high standard and the most beautiful restaurants with brilliant service are in the most isolated spots! As we were staying off the Peages, we had looked at the roads we wanted to travel on. For once, this did not work out quite right when we got to La Fleche as we could not find our road out the other side of the town! Nothing daunted, I headed into a Tabac with map ...

... for sure, so after a bit of discussing, I figured out it WAS a cocquerel, but I wrote it down as 'cocqueral' for the girl. So I checked in the dictionary, and found out I can't even spell cockerel!!!! Anyway, interesting first day back. The headteacher says I'll have to get them to be quiet and discipline them if I want them to listen and learn etc. But you know, I'm NOT the teacher..so if it's gets too difficult or too much pressure then I'm just gonna have to say ...
