... We talked to her for some time (as she is English) and she said Rita was a little shy and had been bullied last year so it would be nice for her and lily to be friends.. so we said we would make it happen and invite Rita and some other of their French friends for a mini birthday thing (we shall see if this ever happens if I have the time to organise it as god knows Paul aint gonna do it).

It was easy to see why this was a good idea, there were about 5 little kids who were absolutely wailing their heads off and obviously not very happy to be at school. ... with no matter how bad it might be but if the school is not right and the girls are not happy then that will be the one thing we cannot cope with. I'm sure it will be fine, we just have to keep reminding ourselves that we are not the first people ever to put our children in this situation and that our girls are strong, clever and independent and they have the support of each other and of us and they are resourceful enough to be able to cope with it ...
