... North into France to Evian. I didn't see anything particularly stunning that makes their water better than anywhere else, but it is a nice town at the foot of the mountains and was worth a visit. Our final day was pretty much a washout, but fortunately our AirBNB guy has a massive TV and so we had a chillout day, catching up on some schooling, playing Monopoly and watching a couple of movies. Next stop, back into France to Champagne. :-)

It really is such a small world, one of the gals was from CA; she grew up in LA area, graduated from UCLA (we worked through it), and is now living in SF and attending USF for grad school. ... I ran away from it and instead of getting to the bus stop within 2 minutes, we walked for 15 minutes, very cautiously, and finally got out of the lizard infested place.
I never expected to see lizards in Switzerland. I thought I might see some in France and I'm definitely expecting to see some in Italy but I thought Switzerland would be too cold for lizzies...too bad. Now I'm a little bit worried about the rest of our trip. I wonder how many more lizards I'll see.
