... you pay a tourist tax but that also entitles you to free public transport. We caught a trolley bus into the main part of town. On the way the bus got pulled over by the cops, that was a first. I think he got a warning because we were soon on our way. The town is really hilly and you need to take a train to go from one side to the other.
The next day we took a boat along the lake to ...

... We packed the bikes, packed our gear, and headed to bed for an early night, as we are leaving the hotel for our flight to Bastia, at 4.30 am. Friday We got up at 4.00 am, and the hotel shuttle took us and our bike boxes the 5 min drive to the airport. Our flight to Bastia was uneventful, just 55 mins, and we collected our luggage and bike boxes, and conveniently the bus into town had storage holds underneath, and we were able to put the bike boxes there for the 22 km trip ...

The lake is called Lac Leman in Switzerland, ...

... br> After the museum, I headed down to the waterfront and took some pictures while the sun was still up. Then I headed to the Cathedral, which is the only other attraction worth seeing here. On the way I saw a small gift shop with anything you'd ever need, with a Swiss emblem on it. I got a wallet because my other one is falling apart. It'll go well with the Swatch watch I bought in the museum gift store. Once at the Cathedral, I was kind of disappointed so I just headed back to ...

... in and near Bamberg! We had brought some vegan pot noodles with us from Karlsruhe so we could save a little money, so we just grabbed some other snacks, veggies and the like to supplement our noodles for dinner. After dinner before it became dark we decided to make a trial run to the uni, which turned out to be only 10 minutes away on the very efficient tram system. Also handy was that the building I needed was the first one straight out of the tram! ...
