... With significant aid from Rene I was able to get to see lots of the Netherlands including the dykes, hookers in Amsterdam and the beautiful old heart of Leiden.

Amsterdam was awesome as we went for a lovely bike ride, saw some old buildings, looked at some hookers and then got stuck into some beers before, as one has to I suppose, a visit to a coffee house. Feeling somewhat confident after some beers I ripped through half of my ...

We started the day with a 30 minute walk from Ouchy to Pully where Barbara and Claude live - a walking track along the shores of lake Geneva, passing the Olympic Museum and lots of beautiful gardens. Also picked some fragrant soaps made locally to bring home - all the craft shops had locally ...

    ... mile roundtrip jaunt.

My stay in Leysin was short, mostly due to the fact that tourist towns outside of tourist season are awfully creepy... especially when you have a 20 person hostel completely to yourself and an owner that is far too excited to have someone staying there. The two night original plan quickly turned into an overnight stop and go.

... have stayed in bed. After the meeting, I ate lunch, then did some of the work that needed to be done in my classroom, then went back to bed. I slept from about 4-5:30, then woke up and called Ed. At 6:00 I headed over for dinner, which was when I remembered that we had a meeting scheduled for 5:00. Oops. From what I understand, nothing important happened at the meeting, except that they told us when breakfast would be today. I did also find out some very sad ...
