    October 12, Sunday Gorge, Waterfall and Antayla

    This morning we left (almost forgetting to pay for our dinner)!! Firstly, the bus took us to the Saklikent Gorge. It was a great gorge – we walked through it – Craig venturing further through the wet bits. Once again a lovely day weather wise.

    Merhabar! We have had a great start to our Turkey adventure. We got to Bodrum on Saturday and the first thing we ate of course was a kebab. We spent the afternoon at the castle which was also an archeological museum, and for dinner we went to this amazing restaurant on a car park.     ... long in length, oval in shape and low in the walls and seating. There are 2 sets of town gates / walls.both roman and Hellenistic. The wide street still shows ruts in the stones made by wagons and features a water feature that flowed right down the middle of the street to help keep the area cooler.     I am a day or two behind with the blog so I am actually writing this is Konya. The second night of bliss was in Antalya however! Two nights in the same hotel, on a trip like this is just wonderful. Yesterday morning we woke to another stunningly beautiful day and set off for the Archaeological Museum.
