The epic journey started with a 3 am trip to Perth domestic airport by Kevin's brother Ian (and Diesel the nephew dog who couldn't miss out) After a relative easy check in and short visit to the Virgin lounge, we boarded for the 4 hour flight VA552 to Sydney. Flew out of Singapore this morning for a 5 hour trip back to Perth.
Left hot, humid city to arrive to showers and max of 14C degrees. Have had wonderful adventures and now glad to be home ... and the unpacking, laundry etc etc !!

Travelpod has been a great way for my famiy and friends to follow our journeys.

... It is quite amazing going through the submarine and imagining what it would have been like to live and work on there with 70 others for up to 6 weeks!!! Megan and Emma were enthralled and were very excited to see where Daddy/Uncle Ken slept and worked. We also wandered through the displays in the rest of the museum which included the Australia 2 America's Cup winner from 1983, a pearl lugger display and a recreation of the AE2 ...
