    ... in the pool at the caravan park however that proved to be a bit cold. That night we went out as it was Brad Pitter's birthday on the Sunday. It was an early night as the boys were going fishing the next day. Jodi doesn't do boat fishing but he was game to give it a go.

    Before our cruise we went out to lunch at the 'Silk Thai' which was voted No. 2 of 98 restaurants in Mandurah so we decided to check it out.     ... guy who had seen the whole thing agreed that i hadn't been speeding, and was helpful in making sure we were both ok. A combination of greasy road and a high kern had made sure that we wrote Wayne's Old ute off. What a way to repay a favour from someone who had looked after us so while for the past two weeks. i felt sick to my stomach and still in complete disbelief.
    Afterwards and on reflection, we were both incredibly lucky: no one else ...

    Today we embark on our road trip from Mandurah to Pemberton. Pemberton is just over 330km south west of Perth and will take us just over 3 hours to get there. Pemberton is surrounded by Karri Forest and is home to three climbable Karri trees. We are hoping to climb at least one- the bicentennial tree is the tallest at 71m, so I'd love to climb that, however, the Gloucester tree is the most famous!
