The tour was very interesting and as we went down some quaint backstreets the guide pointed out lots places we would otherwise have missed. The tour lasted 2 ½ hours and we ended up at the cathedral which is the destination for 1000’s of pilgrims from all over the world.

... with high winds and a not so young and daring painter ( ! ) we are going to have to get hold of some sort of scaffolding to do the high bits. It doesn’t help that everything needs sanding down and at least 3 coats due to being left for so long. I am sure we will get there – one thing we do have is time! Fortunately the weather has been great,if a little too hot with temperatures into the 30s, so progress is steady but thorough.
