That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp! While we were driving we had a COMPETITION to see who could find ...

      Til next time,

... we were all very hungry. Arthur showed us several options, one of which was also recommended by VBT. Our entire group (less two) ate at Alt Koblenz, a typical German menu and situated on a small market square in the old town. The building had been rebuilt and we were shown into a large stone room in the cellar. The ceiling was a series of high arched domes. Our table ordered drinks and food immediately. English menus ...
