Monday February 9th Checked out of our hotel, Antwerp, and Belgium. We were on the road again, this time heading to Germany. It was all motorway so we soon arrived at our destination, Bad Bentheim. A lot of the towns in Germany are called bad something or other, it's not because they're **** but something to do with them being a spa town. ... silencing. A quote I had heard earlier summed it up well: "There is nothing you can say, so you stay silent, but in being silent you lie." It's hard to describe how it makes you feel seeing how horrible humans can be, but seeing the memorials makes you feel like there is hope that something like that will never be repeated. After the concentration camp, we went to Berlin where we got to see the Berlin Wall, checkpoint Charlie, and several other important buildings ...

... br> Over the day the weather deteriorated so we watched a movie in our room and cruised.

That evening we were entertained by "Absolutely Fabulous - a tribute to British Rock Stars", this was a fantastic show. Later that evening, was the battle of the sexes - yay the women won!!

We capped the night off in the Viking Lounge - we were the oldest by a few years - haha still going strong - it was a good night.
