... its not a Freeway. Thats the best way to travel. Went past an area which has an Amish Community, so we saw signs of that, but left any exploring for a later discovery.
Stopped along the way for our Subway lunch. Next to an old barn, which was either in the process of falling down, or should be condemned. Still had a load of straw stored inside oon the second floor (or first floor if you are English) Maybe thats why they dont knock it down.

... zu renovierende Appartments... :-( ich versuchte es in über 10 Motels, etc. bis ich endlich was gefunden hatte... Tja, was für ein Tag :-)


I planned to drive until Toledo and then spend the night there. When I arrived there it was still pretty early so I decided to drive on. Not the best choice... When I finally decided to look for a bed it turned out to be a really difficult task... not a free bed in over 10 places.... :-( I was glad when the day was finally over ...

... are fortunate to be able to spend 7 full months exploring this beautiful country. We'll be departing the US on Sept 17th and we'll be immediately taking advantage of the springtime weather in Queenstown. We're excited to say that we'll be skipping winter this year (although it is likely that we will
hit the slopes at one of the ski resorts around Queenstown before they close for the season).

... to tell us. We called and left a message to that effect and went home. Just as we were about to purchase tickets to go to the Ford Rouge Plant for their tour when we got a call that the "Farmers, Fugitives, and Felons" tour bus was running late, but it was still coming!

We went back to the post office and, 45 minutes later, the "bus" pulled up and off we went. The trip had the driver, the guide and ten passengers who were mostly retired or almost ...

... drive systems, vertical drops, zero gravity . . .And names like Dragster, Iron Dragon, Raptor, Millenium, Maverick, Power Tower, Windseeker, Gemini,etc . . It all added up to a day of fear, highs, and a lot of fun.
