The journey to Munich takes just over five hours on a high speed train. The scenery that passes by is just stunning- literally like a postcard. Saturday morning, we woke up at like 6:30 or 7 so that we could get to the Oktoberfest early enough to get a good spot in a beer tent. We went to the Hofbrauhaus tent and had to wait about an hour before it opened, but the place filled up as soon as the doors opened.
