This is a nice hotel not too far from the train station and within walking distance of the Old Town section with lots to see and do. Neighborhood is a little seedy.

... in Munich, and they set off toward the famous Hofbrauhaus Munchen (not before the 2 front desk tricksters make some sort of hilarious--to them--practical joke about Amanda going down the stairs as she exits). The walk to the Hofbrauhaus is only 10 minutes or so and takes them past the impressive Marienplatz, where they struggle to find a picture to capture the scene.

The interior of the city is full of Baroque architecture (churches, monasteries, lavish homes) and the birthplace and residence of Mozart, which serve as shrines to the famous composer.
