Not really thinking on Saturday night, we went straight down to the beach for dinner in one of the many cafes and restaurants that line the seafront and then came back to the apartment to get ourselves unpacked. Of course on Sunday when we headed out for breakfast, we remembered that things - especially supermarkets - are closed in ...

After the normal morning stuff, we ventured out, with Antibes being our first port of call. It was a beautiful day (what else) and Antibes was just lovely. Old worldy and enclosed by the wall of the city. It was bustling and we had our first decent milk shake (even tho it cost $13 NZ$) and just soaked up the atmosphere and we werent keen to leave but our meter had expired and there was still Cannes to see.
