      ... etc and of course I had to try them. There was also a local choir which sang all the old songs for the oldies but it as great. We are on our way to the barber as Rien has long hair,he has even got hair growing on top so we are going to get it all cut off..       ... to cross the canal.. , but I was getting the hang of riding again and getting used to using the Fietspad.... the dedicated Bicycle paths. Back home by 2:30 thougth it was much later.. had a nap and then cooked our chicken, ate it with the left over salad and off to bed at 8:30.. Jet lag passed now hopefully.       We finished our wonderful cruise in Rotterdam, and Aryn came and picked us up to go back to her house to stay until Wednesday. Jason had arranged a fabulous canalboat cruise of the city followed by the most amazing dinner at a place called Woods. They have their own windmill and cruise and the food was beyond belief! It was a fixed menu and they had a very relaxed serving of the courses which were very gourmet. The canal trip was great and I doubt many people ...

      Good Friday! Public holiday in The Nederlands so maybe things are closed. Luckily the tulip gardens of Keukenhof are open. Keukenhof is the largest flower gardens in the world it is such a shame that the forecast is for a sprinkling of snow and most of the tulips will not be out yet as it has been too cold. There will be crocuses and daffodils in the gardens and there are several exhibitions in the pavilions. I have already bought a Combi ticket for bus and entry for the gardens. ...

      ... cool and unfriendly response, we drove off direction train station. We said goodbye to Ellen and Gerard and thanked them very much for everything they did for us - A LOT! We will see them again briefly at the end of our trip and for sure again in Canada on June 13!
