Today, we were headed to St. Thomas!!!! Yes - Land at our feet... :) This was the second cruise where St. Thomas was a port of call for us. Only thing - first time we were there - Joanne was sick so she didn't get a chance to set her feet on land. This time around she saw a bit more of the country.

... up to 20 people each. (There are also stairs, but it's thirteen storeys high, who is going to use stairs?) So at any one time up to 360 people can travel in the lifts. There are 4,256 passengers on this ship (plus 1,250 crew but I imagine they have there own travelling arrangements).

... vibe that is felt through the locals. Not sure if I mentioned this before but we were lucky enough to have a balcony cabin on our ship, and I don't think I'll ever forget the morning we arrived to St. Thomas because we woke up and looked out the window to see beautiful lush green hills and we all ran out our balcony door to stare in awe.
