... islands in the USVI Group along with St Thomas and St Croix but it is designated to hold about 75% of the island as National Park, from what I can understand, so it retains much of its natural beauty. Really looking forward to seeing it. We were going to sail over but decided to take the “car ferry” so we could see more of the island.

Got a call from Steve last night and everything is on track for his arrival on the 7th January. We are hoping to get away ...

... attraction. I actually remember doing that tour with thte family last time we visited so I passed. I remembered how dark and long the dungeon tunnels were and was not looking to dive into the depths of those after dark :D Even though some were dressed very elegantly you could tell it was a poverish town. One mother who didn’t speak English wanted me to meet her daughter for dinner all googley eyed. That or it was a hooker and old pimpstress! LOL!

... this morning was an absolutely beautiful view. Stunning turquoise waters! We figured we would catch a taxi to Magen's Bay and have a look around there, something which people had recommended. We were horrified by the cost - $10 per person each ...

... and fries were really good. Then we grabbed a cab and headed into town for some shopping. Rob bought a new swimsuit, and Kathleen was looking at diamond pendents. She didn’t see anything that she liked that was what she wanted to spend. I looked, but didn’t see anything that caught my eye either. ... not so sparing time we were allotted on this island we had to scrap that idea for something new. The new overall plan was to see as much of St. Thomas as we could. Upon exiting the ship and leaving the dock area you'll find plazas of shops, restaurants, and even our beloved Senor Frogs. But that's just the port shops! Our cruise had a specific director of shopping who would tell us all the best places to visit, he also let us in on the fact that the little portside shops ...
