... seem to speak some English, but they are delighted when do don't have to - RESPECT! Yay Kate! Very warm welcomes and huge smiles seem to be the default attitude here. Although it's hot - about 30 degrees each day we were here - the city has thousands of trees and gorgeous shady squares where the temperature drops by 10 degrees and a refreshing breeze cools the happy flaneur at every turn ....oh joy and rapture ...

... next destination is the home town of Jose, a barman we’d met in Seville who’d recommended a very good restaurant. The town was a pleasant surprise, with pretty, white dwellings scattered over the hillsides, exotic parks, an ancient church, well worn piazzas, winding alleyways and a Castle on top of a hill. We manage a Skype call to Gary, Gabriel and Susana in Aberbyjan, and a call to Charlotte to wish her happy birthday.

To Orbitur Quateira

A travel blog entry by thereays on Feb 03, 2014

... 300 miles, free motorway (almost) all of the way. At the Portuguese border, they have installed automatic Toll Machines for all non-Portuguese vehicles. What a cheek!

We arrive at Orbitur Quateira (N37 W4' 2" W8 5' 14"), it is an ACSI site, but, it is cheaper to use our Orbitur memebership card and we get ten nights for 100Euro.
The scooter is unloaded, with the assistance of Kathleen and a very friendly French couple.
