    ... dessert to eat later - a chocolate baklava and a semolina citrus syrup cake (little squares of each) and a little cup of profiteroles smothered in rich ganache style sauce and chocolate shavings. Fast forwarding on the story they were all excellent (I don't give that grade easily) especially the chocolate baklava which had almost soft creamy layers in it omg.     ... are perfect. You can stand in the center of the orchestra level and whisper and the person on the last seat at the top can hear perfectly. We walked around the rest of the ruins that had been the palace and the stadium, then headed to Nafplio.

    ... we had come across but everything looked pretty tasty. Jamie decided she was in the mood for some pasta just to mix things up a bit and I went for the de-constructed pork belly souvlaki things. So good! We ordered their version of a Póros salad which is just a basic leafy salad with nuts and whatever seasonal fruit was around. We got nectarines and it was awesome. Good start to Póros food.

    ... until reaching our first island, Hydra.

    Hydra is a small Greek island about a 3 hour ferry ride from Athens. It is marked by rocky beaches and is known for only having two cars on the whole island: an ambulance and a garbage truck. (Knowing from personal experience, these are about the same thing)
