    Well, we've arrived at the Atlantic. It wasn't a long drive, but the last bit was a bit frantic with snooper directing us through the town! It's very sandy and after last nights rain, we were careful about choosing our pitch. Reception wanted us to go in amongst the pine trees but it was a loose surface. Chose a pitch which had a grassy covering.

    ... dune at the end of the day was lots harder.
    The third day we headed into Bordeaux. It was so hot, about 37 degrees, but such a beautiful city. We were going to do the 70 minute bus or 60 minute guided train around the city but found a map and decided to do our own tour with Jim reading the map and me taking the photos, perfect.
