We gave ourselves plenty of time to find out where our ferry would actual be, providing it actually existed! Turns out it did exist and by 9.30 we were setting sail, well less sail and more chugging as it was a massive ferry, with plenty of room...so who knows what the American was talking about!! After 50 minutes we were stepping foot onto the isle of Kos! Another ...

... shops named 'Jimmy shoe' 'Marc Spencer' and 'Nexst' they even had a pub called 'white mans pub' Righto.... We soon left and were on a bus to bodrum. Very easy instructions to the hostel. Dumped our bags and headed for dinner. After dinner and back in the room we had a quick look online for ferrys to Kos, however it seemed a little harder than pre anticipated...a fellow traveller said he was going in two days ...

... got to Bodrum we started at the Castle. As we were wandering around I heard a strange noise, it turned out to be a peacock casually sitting in a tree, I think that was the highlight of the day. When we had finished looking around the castle, we wandered along the sea front, had a nice lunch in the market area, I bought some cool earrings, had an ice cream, then we went back to Akyaka.

... to hitchhike. The first passersby were two guys on a motor scooter who initially signaled no space but then the driver turned around and he took the can between his legs and it was waiting for us at the boat.

Christina (not Onassis) of the Afrodites restaurant cooked us a special meal of pork on the spit which has become a traditional meal for us in Palon.

All in all the people of Palon always welcome us back like old ...
