... Now that might not sound inviting more most people, it was a real treat after some of the welll...interesting hostels I had stayed in in the past.
Scott and I spent the early evening trying to figure out the internet situation at the hotel so that we could get in touch with Mom and Torrey before they left on their night train to meet us in the morning, Though it was a bit complicated, after an hour or so we figured it out and decided to rent a movie before ...

After a 6 hour drive, (we´ve now covered around 1,600miles since leaving Bmth ) we enter Granada just b4 dark. Granada is the gateway to the Sierra Nevada, and our intention is to stay 2nights, mainly so we can spend one day in the Alhambra. We pitch our tent just b4 dark, the campsite conveniently located 5km outside Granada. We immediately notice a sharp (can see our breath!) drop in temperature, so after a camp meal and a couple of ...
... so many people on the roads and I don't know if I will ever get back to Granada again anytime soon so I felt like I needed to take the opportunity to see more the city. I walked down one of the roads that had the cool street lights, encountered more Americans, and went to an area with a little different vibe. More modern apartment buildings and spread out a little bit. When I got to the hotel I watched some of the cable TV. That was an experience.
Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... THAN 4, YOU LEFT ME IN THE ALHAMBRA. Well, all's well the ends well, since I made it on the bus, and for the rest of the trip, everytime the group got together, Nuria would call out, "Deena, are you here?" and once I assured her I was present, the group could leave.
After the Alhambra, we had some free time to get lunch, so I went with a few girls to a little hole in the wall that had 3 euro falafel. Having spent quite a bit of time in Israel, I have had my fair share of falafel ...
... me positively pre-pubescent, but never mind... ANother tidbit...there's also a delightful bar called the Chupeteria where you go and they have a selection of 180 or so different shots of alcohol, costing a euro each...for every shot you buy you get a ticket and eventually, when you have enough tickets, you can trade them in for prizes! I got a fan, but shirts, sombreros, thongs and bandanas are also available... More to come on Granada...
Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands papayaprincess... Best p*rt of the me*l w*s prob*bly the dessert. It consisted of profiteroles (prob*bly definitely my f*vorite new word) [* type of cre*m puff] *nd * decent chocol*te mousse. I *ctu*lly dumped my profiterole into my mouse *nd *te it right up! Th*t night, people w*nted to do something, but nothing th*t necess*rily dict*ted r*ging. So, we went to * pretty cool hook*h b*r th*t very close to our residenci*. Granada, Spain jakester21... the only night I was in town, Que suerte! (What luck!) The show I saw was a cross between the costumes from Andrew Llyod Webers' "CATS" and classic Flamenco dance, called FLAMENCATS! Flamenco was birthed out of the Andalucia region so there is an immense pride in the art. Flamenco's origin, being mired in persecution and hardship, lends to its common themes: desperation, hope, and pride. It is a mystical ...
Granada, Spain lifeadventures... no matter what you do you can't get close to three or four hundred people through a dining hall in an hour. I was glad I got down there early (7:30) because when I was on my way out, the line to get into the dining room reached clear across the lobby (about 50m). Since I had borrowed an Ethernet cord from the front desk, I had to give it back in order to retrieve the €5 they were holding ransom. Much to my dismay, by ...

He spent the next 30 hours trying to get back to Tangier with no money. So .... I decided to wait one more day to reconsider my trip..... and then the following day I heard of a German girl traveling on her own who returned from her 3 week trip there after only 3 days because it was too much. I ...
