My host family has their own pressing system, complete with shredder, press, and all. We had already made about 75 liters of juice, but with the pressing, pasteurization and canning processes this took three days. When my host family asked me if I would like to go into Bremen I responded, 'Well of course!' We planned to go on Wednesday, but not just any Wednesday; the Tag der Deutsches Einhet (or German Unification Day). The reason was because this was a free day, no school and no work. Back in Bremen
... trip.
We had some Irish Stew for lunch which warmed us up for a walk along the water front where the annual Bremanalle was on. Tents with music, beer, food lined about a kilometer of the river front.
In the evening for our final night in Bremen, we had dinner with Ute at an African restaurant, which was quite exotic as we all had to all sit on cushions the sandy floor. It was quite a feast.
