Switzerland the home of army knives, cuckoo clocks, watches, chocolate , Swiss alps, giant pretzels, and all those weird sausages !! Hehe ... Time for a peppermint tea and on my next leg of my train adventure ...
its only when one looks carefully can you see tiny dots op people in the ice
encrusted walls of this mighty high mountain. Looking up at the peak there was
two tiny black dots in the snow which we all thought were rocks showing out.
Only when we saw them move did we realise they were tiny people. This of course
made us realise just how massive this peak really was.

Today's journey has taken us to a tiny town about 4000 meters into the Swiss alps. The only way to reach this town is via a cable car, or a 40 minute hike through the mountains. There are no roads and no cars! As soon as we arrived, we were immediately struck by how quiet the area was. The only sounds were various bird calls and distant crashing water falls. The occasional sheep's bleat or cow's moo can be heard. No traffic, no city noise, hardly ...
