Paul scooped me up on the train and we went to a beautiful place in Brooklyn called Park Slope where his friends Danny and __ live. We had delicious wine, looked at pictures of pigs, and watched Game of Thrones (my 1st time). ...

... There is also one tree in the memorial grounds which is different from all the rest. it is a Callery Pear tree while all the others are Swamp White Oaks. This pear tree was found by workers after 9/11, a damaged 8 foot tall stump in the debris. It was nursed back to health and grew to be 30 feet, sprouting new branches and flowering in spring. It is currently supported by temporary guide wires.

Another train ride took us to Midtown where we bought lunch at Chelsea ...

We then head out to the practice courts hoping to see someone cool but no such luck today. We get a stamp to re-enter the open but the line up for the re-entry was so long and there was no guarantee that we would get to the top before 6pm and it was so hot so we decide to call it a day and head home.

We grab our last dinner at Dudleys and we both enjoy our meals of pork loin and chicken schnitzel. Its nice to spend our last dinner in our neighbourhood. ...

... in a queue, while Ron (unbeknownst to me) just went to the front of the queue and asked the official. I joined the queue and there was no sign of Ron, but he came along with his information. Absolutely hopeless! Then, they had to offload luggage as people hadn't got on the plane. I wonder why!

... is a second Beny's and it's on my street! Now I'm in trouble. When I got back to the neighborhood I headed straight there for a dessert to have after dinner. Tonight I tried their fruit tart. It did not disappoint! That is one of my favorite desserts and this one was the best I've had. I think I might have to stop there everyday and make it my mission to try every dessert in the case.
