Hung over again

... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.

We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.

Too Funny

... the ferry over to Algeciras it only took an hour and half and then we where in spain, I felt a huge weight lift as now we can relax a little. In morroco you are always on edge always watching and not trusting people that it makes you a little crazy. So we went and got our bus tickets and we waited in a little bus station cafe and had our first taste of Spanish food. Ian had some paella and I had some meatballs ...

Sunrise over the Med

... our ship, the navigator of the seas (royal caribbean) is repositioning to the caribbean for the winter. pricing on these types of cruises is very affordable and the type of people that cruise on the transatlantic sailings tend to be laid back, not the type who needs to be in a different port every day especially since we will have 6 sea days in a row as we cross the atlantic. i will have internet access on the ship so hopefully i'll be able to post daily.

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... the pool, cooking for ourselves, and watching MTV in German (South Park is hilarious, BTW) it was time for another adventure.
We ended up booking an actual group tour to Morocco for the day. We wanted to go check it out on our own, but it was actually cheaper to do it though the tour, so we got up at 5:45 in the morning on Thursday and got on the bus to Tarifa, where we would take the ferry over to Tangier.
Even though it´s only a 35 minute ferry ride, Tangier really is ...

Where the Bullfight Was Born

... No words or pictures could fully capture the essence of this city, you just have to be there to fully experience its beauty. I then explored the city, going to places that are not commonly visited by tourists, I did some shopping, had a beer and tapas at a small restaurant and then walked through the park. Unfortunately, the day was cut short due to time restrictions and I did not have the chance to do everything I wanted to do but I will definitely be back.

Malaga City Tour

... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.

Marbella--Yay!

... residents are cool, and we've been making friends with the local ex-pats. We've been really lucky with weather, and we've been munching on all sorts of food. Sometimes, you think you order something, and it's not what you think it is. For example, we were out with a Scottish guy who ordered a Chicken Salad. When he got it, it was small bits of Chicken in Thousand Island dressing with Pineapples. Huh? We went to my favorite restaurant called Basilio and I finally took ...

... and sort of like a smaller version of Monaco...lots of flash cars. Parking was a nightmare and we were glad we were in a relatively small car and not Misty!! With Dad's direction Wayne managed to do a 100 point reverse turn and squeeze the car into a spot that looked like only a smart car would fit...all the time trying not to hit the Merceded in front of us!!! This is when you want Dad's mini moke so we could all take a corner and just lift it into the space!!
