Hung over again

... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.

We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.

Too Funny

... the ferry over to Algeciras it only took an hour and half and then we where in spain, I felt a huge weight lift as now we can relax a little. In morroco you are always on edge always watching and not trusting people that it makes you a little crazy. So we went and got our bus tickets and we waited in a little bus station cafe and had our first taste of Spanish food. Ian had some paella and I had some meatballs ...

Sunrise over the Med

i made it across the pond just fine, spent a few days in london with terry and his friends going out to dinner and beer tasting at a local london pub. my shift key went out on the keyboard so mostly everything will be typed in lower case; i do apologize for this.

terry and i made it from essex to london's gatwick airport by public transport, only took 1 taxi, 6 trains, and 1 bus to get us there but we made it. since i'm a bit loaded down with luggage and one piece ...

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... the pool, cooking for ourselves, and watching MTV in German (South Park is hilarious, BTW) it was time for another adventure.
We ended up booking an actual group tour to Morocco for the day. We wanted to go check it out on our own, but it was actually cheaper to do it though the tour, so we got up at 5:45 in the morning on Thursday and got on the bus to Tarifa, where we would take the ferry over to Tangier.
Even though it´s only a 35 minute ferry ride, Tangier really is ...

Where the Bullfight Was Born

... I saw a bullfight my first week here and it really wasn't my cup of tea, but it was interesting to be where all the action takes place. I then proceeded to go exploring on my own, which I actually do quite frequently. I love people but I find I really enjoy some things better when I make my own experience not surrounded by what everyone else wants to do. I started by going down into the Ronda Gorge, which literally looks like a city built on a cliff. It is just ...

Malaga City Tour

... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.

Horseback Holiday - Andalucia

Andalusian Adventure is a horseback holiday outfit in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park - Monda, Spain. We leave Malaga for the 30 km drive up into the foothills of Sierra Nevada for a private 2 hour ride at 3:30pm. A truck rear-ends a car on the A-355 and after 40 minutes of wreckage clearing we show up a 1/2 hour late. The proprietor is a Brit named "Lee" who very politely gets us ...

... puddles on the ground. As we exited the concert we had a chance to wander around the caverns just a little bit-the little bit we saw was just amazing. I thought that was the end of the event. But no...we next visited the famous Barbary apes. It was just a stop along the roadway, actually. The famous Barbary Apes are a breed of cinnamon-color tailless monkeys native to Morocco. Legend holds that as long as the monkeys ...
