        ... 25 years!) - we did see about four people who were possibly older than us, but otherwise it was a rather hip, arty, and young crowd (so we really DID stick out!).

        Liz and I ended up getting four drawings between us. We very much enjoyed the first band (from Ireland), but the second lot (an English two-some) were simply in the business of making noise....And the beer was cheap - all-in-all, a very good evening!

        ... It looked really cool. Eventually I got tired of walking and jumped on one of the river cruises. The cruise took about an hour and I could sip on my wine as I watched the city go by. The "tour guide" was a pre-recorded message delivered by wireless handsets. It was a bit hard to hear at first but I found I could plug in my phone headset, problem solved.         ... suspect it's not really that hot outside. Earlier I was just tired and had on jeans and was ready for a break. We are just off the hopping street called Friedrichstrasse. It's supposedly the fancy shopping area. On my miserable trek earlier I recall seeing a Gucci and a Michael Kors and stuff like that. I'm ready to go explore and have my first German beer of many!
