... this point the group was due to get on another mini train city tour but I'd had enough. With another adventurous couple we met on the tour, we decided to be 'rebels' and go to the local 'beach' for a swim instead. The weather wasn't particularly hot on this day (about 22degrees?) but when I've decided to swim, not much will stop me.
So we got changed under towels on the public beach (no one cares they are used to some nudity) ...
... dinner and down a few drinks during happy hour (4€ cocktails & 1€ beers) at the hostel. When my belly was full, it was off to explore the sights of Nice and night. Sitting on the pebbled beach and just staring up at the stars and enjoying the company of my fellow travellers, alas even those travelling must sleep sometimes, however on the way back to the hostel we came across a number of street performers with some brilliant acts which had us laughing ...
... stopped working on her right when we got there and she didn't know why. We did our laundry there and hung all our stuff to dry all around the room and on the balcony. Pretty funny...
