    ... tourists from the cruise ship so had a pleasant time, it must be very difficult to live with so many tourists passing your home each day, it became very crowed by 11am when we left. This is such a small principality, 2kms square, & only 30K inhabitants, but so built up. In the afternoon we walked from our hotel to the old quarter of Nice, Cours Saleya, a very long but pleasant stroll along the water, it was busy ...

    ... and how bad they are. Then we discussed the health system of both countries, gun law, wages, holidays, how bad some landings are, where the hell is the missing Malaysia flight, the fact they have 3 pilots on their plane, so one can have a nap at any time etc. really good chat over a few beers and margaritas,
    came home and hit the wine, while Wendy cooked the pasta which was excellent. Went to bed with a bit of a hangover, but what the heck , we are on holidays.

    ... SHOP" on the windscreen. We unloaded the car and headed inside. The queue was LONG! Europcar are obviously the busiest of all the rental companies and we must have arrived at a busy time. The line moved slowly but in the end the young chap at the counter was very helpful and replaced the car without asking many questions... I'm guessing I will deal with insurance costs at a later date!

    Our exchange car was the same type, Peugeot 208 only this time a 4 door in ...

    A couple weeks ago I left for Nice,
    it was one of the most beautiful beach towns I have ever seen. I know now, why
    they call it the côte d'azure, the water is
    incredibly crystal clear, blue. Yachts and mansions line the beachfront, and a
    quaint little city center with touristy shops offers hours of entertainment.

    ... hill of olives, bread and pesto and basked in the sunshine. Oh it was so lovely to warm up in the sun after some very cold days in paris. Oh we love you Nice!
