... went to look at some shoes at the Salamandar (a German shoe store). I tried some on, but nothing screamed -- buy me right now. It was crepe time. Isabelle had a sugar crepe & I had a nutella crepe. There was a famous umbrella making shop just around the corner, so we went for a peek. I bought a "Monet" style umbrella. ... ham, cheese and egg with a leafy green salad and tomatoes. The main course was steak, beans and salad leaves so we ordered some pommes frites which were delicious. Dessert was an apple tart with crème anglaise, with Brad ordering some vanilla ice-cream to go with his. It was such good value and the service was quick and friendly.

... below it- the whole show was amazing.

Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde was another show we enjoyed which was the story of Merlin and King Arthur. The dramatization is unbelievably amazing with a whole set of the round table rising up from a lake and then a man riding a horse appearing from within it. We could not work out how some of these amazing effects were achieved. Singing and narration are often included in these shows as well.

... aviary, and a very unexpected vulture display. I call it a display because the vultures settled on the ground in an enclosure that you walk through. And yet there was nothing to stop them flying away. Were their wings clipped? I don't know.
